The Rain Soaked Towers of Sharn
Snooty half-elf with storm powers. She loves her golden tresses way too much!
My name is Regen. Regen d’Lyrandar. I am a young Half-elf who can talk her way out of mostly anything. I like to think it’s because I was born with immense beauty. It could also be the way my hair shines like gold in the sun. Other than talking my way into or out of things, I have powers. Powers which I have inherited from my Grandmother on my Mom’s side. My Grandmother was a Raincaller. She was a natural who could call down the lightning and thunder whenever she wished. I, like her, can use lightning and thunder. Which can be fun at times. There’s this trick that I have found that I can do without anyone knowing it was me. I can shock people! Makes it fun when someone gets to be to annoying. Oh! and I never have to worry about getting wet when it rains. I seem to have this invisible bubble that forms around me and keeps me dry. That’s a good thing because if my hair gets wet, then I am not a happy Half-elf to be around. As for my parents, they work on an airship. My mother serves tea to all the travelers. Her tea is simply the best! She has tea brought to her from all over Eberron. I have been so lucky to have these rare teas growing up. And let me tell you, growing up on an airship is a most exciting childhood one could have. My Father, since he has a dragonmark like me, works as an engineer on the ship. With this ranking I was given the chance to meet many travelers. Needless to say I have learned much on how to deal with different types of people. I do have an older brother as well. He is currently training at the House Lyrandar academy at Stormhome. As for what he is training to do, I have yet to find out. The jerk doesn’t write to me very much. I have taken it upon myself to seek out what I should do with my life. I went to the city of Sharn thinking that since it’s so big I would easily find something to do. And boy was I right. My first night there I was a witness to a murder. I had to help some strangers take on some huge Warforge. These strangers have become fast friends and we have begun to take on some interesting adventures. The first adventure mind you, I wasn’t to pleased about because we had to wade through the sewers of Sharn. My beautiful dress barely made it through that one. It was worth it though because the next day while rummaging through my bag I found a little stow-a-way. Can’t say that I blame him though. If I had a way to get out of there I would totally jump into the first bag that came my way. He is a cute little snail and I haven’t found the right name for him yet. He comes in handy at times. Mostly he can sneak in tight spots or rooms with enemies to tell me what he sees. Just recently I was able to steal a plush red velvet pillow from a vampire. I love this pillow. Its a soft place to lay my head down and keep my lovely tresses away from the dirty ground. Each day is a new day and I am learning spells as I go along. I can’t wait to see where we will end up next.
